You can register downtown at Rocky Peak Adventure Gear, at club functions, the rental shop and on-line – website: www.caribooski.ca .
We have a new racing initiative – we would like to encourage youth to travel to some races as a team this year! -All SDP skiers are encouraged to participate in the Hallis Lake Loppet and the Elementary School Races (on the calendar) in lieu of scheduled lessons. Participants must register separately for these races.
Times:
Bunnyrabbits: Saturday 11 AM – 12 PM
Jackrabbits & Yeti Trackers: Saturday 11 AM – 12:30 PM
Jackrabbits & Track Attack: Monday 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM
The CSTC Race team practices with Biathlon on Tuesday evenings.
Registration Cost:
Season Pass User Fee + Skill Development Program Fees = Total Registration Cost
SDP registrants receive discounts on rental equipment. Contact the rental shop for more info.
All Bunnies must be accompanied by a parent or guardian for all lessons or until the coach confirms the bunny can ski without you – please ask your coach after a few lessons
Parent participation is highly encouraged – please come and have fun skiing with the group! Tagging along behind or actively helping with the group is adored by coaches and kids alike!
Please label all equipment (especially poles) and remember that group leaders and coaches are NOT responsible to wax skis so ensure equipment is waxed before lessons begin – ask rental shop if unsure.
Arrive early and join classes promptly as groups may be difficult to locate if you arrive late
There will be waxing clinics and free parent lessons during some sessions. The dates will be announced. Skiers in Level 3 and 4 will be skate skiing and classic skiing as part of the program. Ask your coach for more information. SDP registrants receive a discount on rental equipment. Contact the rental shop for more information.
Our cold weather policy is if it is -15 celsius (excluding wind chill) or colder one hour before start time, the session will be cancelled. If it is cold please check your email, or our facebook page for an update. TrackAttack and Yeti groups may ski in colder temperatures at the discretion of the coaches
We will be organizing indoor training activities on cold days and if the weather warms up, we will go out on skis. Depending on age and group structure, on colder weather days groups may go on short skis and then warm up in lodge.
